Gulu University awarded Public University of the Year 2024
Gulu University was on November 29th, 2024 awarded the best Public University of the Year 2024 during the 12 edition of Visionaries Award presided over by Hon: Judith Nabakooba ,the Minister of Lands, Housing and Urban Development and Hon: Mukasa Muruli , Minister of Public Service including three other Ministers from Serena Hotel in Kampala. Themed ‘Celebrating Excellence and Strengthening Sustainable Inclusive Socio-Economic Development’, the ceremony registered many public and private institutions verified to be working towards Uganda’s realization of Vision 2040 bag their awards. The award was organized by the Visionaries Board and National Planning Authority (NPA)
