Introduction
Drawing from its establishment as an excellence in Research, Innovation, Research Projects, Graduate Training, and Community Engagement, the Institute of Research and Graduate Studies, is the centre of the University and space to train and generate cutting edge knowledge, skills and capacities for community and national transformation.
The Institute’s unique tradition and flagship in enhancing and contributing to original research that broadens the boundary of knowledge through; quality graduate training and an in-depth investigation while asking the right questions and identifying the right problems, elevates the knowledge generation eco-system in Gulu University to a global state-of-the-art as a prestigious University. Demonstrating the ability to take training and research leadership, the Institute contributes to the critical national research capacity, quality assurance, growth and development of local communities as well. While also, contributing to University’s visibility, and greater opportunities for Research Grants.
