National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) Team led by Assoc. Prof. Watmon Titus Bitek on a 2 day courtesy visit at Gulu University to inspecting Facilities for the Accreditation of five other Programmes
A team from the National Council for Higher Education headed by Assoc. Prof. Watmon Titus Bitek is at Gulu University inspecting Facilities for the Accreditation of five Programmes that include undergraduate Bachelor Pharmacy, Science in Biosystem Engineering, Water Resource and Climate Resilience Engineering and Master of Medicine (Surgery), and Master of Pediatrics and Child Health.
The team had a courtesy call at the Office of Vice-Chancellor where Prof. Openjuru George Ladaah the Vice- Chancellor expressed his happiness and told the team that the University already has the capacity to have all five programmes running.
They also held their first meetings at the Gulu University Main Library where the Dean of Agriculture and Environment and the Dean of Faculty of Medicine all made presentations based on the programmes at their Faculties.
The team who started work on the 3rd of October 2023 will end their work on the 4th of October 2023 and later make a report on their findings for the above five programmes.
