Gulu University Tribunal Court set for ruling in the case of former Asst. AR.
The Gulu University Tribunal court has set Friday 25 April 2025 for ruling in the case of Oryema Denis Welbone Versus Gulu University.
Oryema was an Assistant Academic Registrar at the time of his dismissal from the university service in 2019 over involvement in exams malpractice with a student.
Gulu University Staff Tribunal Chairman Hon. Baku Raphael Obdura adjourned the sitting to Friday 25 April, for ruling in Oryema’s case.
However, for the case of Matovu Henry Versus Gulu University whose case was brought before the Tribunal for mention, on the same day Friday 11, his lawyer Pande Norman did not present all the necessary documents required and requested court to give him time to file memorandum of appeal.
Court adjourned his case to a date to be communicated after the advocate provides all the necessary documents.
Mr. Matovu was an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science by the time of his dismissal.
