Gulu University awards 15 Former Council Members
Gulu University has awarded 15 former council members for their tremendous work towards the development of the University. The awardees who received plagues and certificates of recognition on 10 th July from the University New Library during the 62 nd Council Meeting included staff, students and ministry representatives from government.
While giving the awards, the Gulu University Vice Chancellor Prof. George Ladaah Openjuru appreciated the good work of the awardees in the previous council that saw the university developed to where it is now especially in Research Capacity Development, Community Engagement and infrastructure. Mrs. Mary Theresa Obbo, the Chairperson of Gulu University 6 th Council said the milestone achieved over the years reflect the great contributions made by the awardees in various capacities, highlighting the collaborative spirit that is driving the university to date.
