Gulu University, Faculty of Medicine are currently accepting Abstracts to be considered for the Uganda Symposium on African Traditional Medicine to take place from August 24th -31st , 2025 at Gulu University. This will be in commemoration of the International World Health Organization (WHO) African Traditional Medicine day in August 2025.
We are inviting submissions of abstracts for oral or poster presentations from Universities, Researchers, Scholars and policy makers.
Abstract submission deadline is Sunday, August 10 th , 2025. THEME: “Advancing African Traditional Medicine: Research, Innovation, and Integration” Objective: To promote the development and integration of Traditional Medicine into healthcare
systems, highlighting its potential contributions to achieving Universal Health Coverage.

ABSTRACT FORMAT
Abstracts may be submitted for oral presentation (20 minutes).
Abstracts should be no more than 350 words excluding details of the authors
Poster presentation may be created by an individual or a group
Abstracts are to be submitted in English, using the emails, of resource persons below.
Presenting authors will need to provide a Bio of no more than 800 characters
Abstract submission deadline is Sunday, August 10 th , 2025.
Early submission is encouraged.
