Centenary Bank applauds Gulu University for supporting its growth and development


Centenary bank has applauded Gulu University for its unwavering support towards the growth and development of the bank over the years. This came out during a visit by the bank to the University on Tuesday 9 July, 2024.

Mr. Bwoch Gustavio Orach Lujwero, Centenary Bank Board Chairman, who led the visiting team commended the efforts of staff and students of the university in seeing the bank grow to where it is now, pledging to continue cementing the already existing good relationship between the bank and the university.

Benon Benedict Muhamuzi, the Northern Regional Manager for centenary Bank appreciated the University for embracing digital banking for carrying out transactions, adding that the bank will continue offering better services to the university and the surrounding community.

Sr. Rosalba Aciro, the Deputy Academic Registrar In charge of Admissions, Gender mainstreaming and Ceremonies at Gulu University asked the bank to forge a way to help financially struggling students to finish their studies.

The Vice Chancellor of Gulu University, Prof. Openjuru George Ladaah who welcomed the team to the university brought to their attention, the need to give Gulu University a preferential treatment status as a way of appreciating the enormous contributions of the university to the economic growth of the bank.
