Vice Chancellor Closes Three-Day Workshop on Research and Innovation- Based Advocacy at Gulu University


The Vice Chancellor of Gulu University, Pro.Openjuru George Ladaah on 30th July 2025 officially closed a three-day workshop focused on Research and Innovation-Based Advocacy. The event aimed at transforming research and communication into meaningful policy action.

The day also marked the launch of the EReBA Pilot Project Network which commenced in March 2024. The project brought together researchers and civil society organizations (CSOs) from Rwanda and Uganda in a collaborative effort to bridge the gap between academic research and policy influence.
During the closing ceremony, Professor Openjuru , who launched the EReBA project, awarded certificates to the participants and recognized outstanding contributions with awards for the best researchers and journalists.
