Dr. Emmanuel Menya is a Lecturer of Biosystems Engineering and Coordinator of the MSc Programme in Renewable Energy and Energy Access at the Department of Biosystems Engineering, Gulu University, Uganda. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow at Makerere University. He earned his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Makerere University in 2019, MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering with Specialization in Sustainable Energy Engineering from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm in 2012, and a BSc degree in Agricultural Engineering from Makerere University in 2007. He has successfully authored and managed research grants, both as a Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator, with an extensive publication record in reputable international scientific journals. He has over 1200 google scholar citations, with h- and i10-indices of 14 and 16, respectively. Emmanuel has served as a reviewer and guest editor for reputable peer-reviewed journals. He is currently a full editorial board member for the Journal of Chemical Engineering Research and Design in Elsevier and Discover Sustainability in Springer Nature.
