Dr. Ayiiko Herbert Served as a Mentor and Facilitator in the implementation and utilization of the Self Regulatory Quality Improvement System Plus (SQIS+) tool within Uganda’s private health sector in 2025. The assignment focused on strengthening the self-assessment capacity of private health facilities through technical guidance, mentorship, and practical training on quality improvement processes. Key responsibilities included enhancing healthcare workers’ knowledge and application of the SQIS+ tool, identifying service delivery gaps, and supporting facilities in developing targeted interventions to improve healthcare quality and compliance with standards.
