Abstract


The paper critically looks at the current state of knowledge regarding the systems approach to addressing the climate change crisis. It examines the foundational principles and methodologies of systems thinking, highlighting their applications to both climate change mitigation and adaptation. In addition, the paper highlights how interconnected environmental, social, and economic factors can be better understood and managed using a systems thinking approach.
