Frequently Asked Questions


This applies to applicants whose application fees have been paid and whose status is showing "pending" on the application portal.

Step 1: Access the application portal by accessing https://apply.gu.ac.ug

Step 2: Click on "Check PRN Status" in the left-side menu or top menu.

Step 3: Enter the “Payment Reference Number (PRN)” in the provided field.

Step 4: The "Check Status" button will synchronize the payment.

Membership ceases when:

1. A members shares falls below the minimum acceptable shares (1 share)

2. A member voluntarily withdraws from the SACCO

3. A member has permanently lost sanity

4. A member dies

5. A member is dismissed from the SACCO
