1. Send an email to helpme@gu.ac.ug using your third-party (private) email address like opiokenneth@gmail.com NB: A ticket is created automatically in the DICTS helpdesk ticketing system with a reference number.

2. The Directorate of Human Resources (DHR) verifies staff and gives instructions to the Directorate of ICT Services (DICTS) to create an institutional email from the helpdesk ticketing system

3. DICTS creates an email and notifies the user through a third-party (private) email with access instructions on how to use the institutional email address.

4. DICTS sends instructions on how to access eduroam wires[less network to the user through an institutional email address.

Note:

1. Institutional email address and eduroam username and password are similar.

2. Username and password should never be shared.
