Sekiswa Peter, PhD, is a historian based at Gulu University in Uganda, specializing in African history with a focus on political developments, indigenous knowledge systems, and socio-economic transformations in East Africa. His research explores themes such as governance, decolonization, and the role of cultural institutions in shaping community resilience. Dr. Sekiswa has contributed to academic scholarship through teaching, research, and publications, and is committed to advancing historical inquiry that connects past experiences to contemporary development challenges
