Dr. Asaf Adebua is a Ugandan born in Terego, West Nile. Dr. Asaf Adebua is currently the Chief, Directorate of Planning & Development Gulu University. He holds a PhD in Education Planning and Management of Gulu University, Master’s degree in Economic Policy & Planning, a Post graduate diploma in Education and in Computer Science all from Makerere University. He has taught in secondary school and university levels and had good exposure with international education systems during his training for Advanced Certificate in Education Sector Planning and travels to Cuba, Denmark, Sweden, Israel, southern Africa, West Africa and East Africa. He has presented papers in international conferences in different countries. He is seasoned in Strategic Planning task activities which stretches to over twenty years’ experience, budgeting and management as well as consultancy services for over 20 years. His participation in research activities encompasses higher education, socio-economic development, community transformation and planning.
