Alule Rhombe Jimmy

Lecturer


Alule Rhombe Jimmy is a lecturer in the Geography Department in the Faculty of Education and Humanities at Gulu University. He recently obtained a PhD in Geography in natural resource management, focusing on Indigenous knowledge and implications for sustainable management of forest resources in Yumbe district, Uganda.
He is actively involved in teaching, research, and community engagement. He supervises undergraduate and post graduate students and is serving as a doctoral committee member for PhD students. In addition, he has examined several Master’s dissertations both as an internal examiner and external examiner.
Alule has been involved in several research projects; for example, under BSU IV, he is working with Work Package II, which deals with climate change and sustainable development, and the VUUCA project, which deals with climate change adaptation among smallholder farmers in northern Uganda.
