This Unit is responsible for ensuring that donor/research funds and other assets are mobilized and managed in accordance with the respective memoranda of understanding (MOU)/Partnership Agreements (PA), University Financial Regulations and laws of the Government of Uganda. The Grants/Projects Unit is headed by a Senior Accountant: Mr. Okeny Jimmy.
This Unit is responsible for ensuring that staff’s salaries, wages, benefits, statutory and other deductions are paid in a timely manner and in accordance with the University policies and laws of Government of Uganda. The Salaries and Wages Unit is headed by a Principal Accountant: Ms. Layet Agnes Single.
This Unit is responsible for processing payments, preparing and submitting financial statements in accordance with the University Finance Regulations, donors’ policies and laws of Government of Uganda. The Expenditure and Payable Unit is headed by a Principal Accountant: Mr. Olyel Geoffrey Ajabi.
This Unit is responsible for quantitative and qualitative validation of finance documents and financial statements to ensure adherence to donors’ policies, University Financial Regulations and laws of the Government of Uganda. The Finance Accountability and Reporting Unit is headed by a Principal Accountant: Mr. Gena Patrick.
This Unit is responsible for collection and accounting for all revenues. It also reviews and identifies alternative sources of revenue generation. The Revenue Mobilization Unit is headed by a Principal Accountant: Mr. Toolit Samuel.
