Assistant Lecturer


Ms Yikiru is a rising scholar with robust academic achievements who has interests in Syntax, the diachronic issues in the development of English, corpus linguistics, sociolinguistics and African literary studies specifically those addressing gender and other issues that are relevant to contemporary life and the future of the contemporary society. She also has special interests in stylistics and themes in the area of protest poetry at regional levels in Africa. Coupled with this is the fact Ms Yikiru has an outstanding diligence and teamwork skills, as well as keen interest in undertaking and completing academic tasks. She has served at different positions in renown institutions of learning of Uganda.
