Oketcho Moses Machulu is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Science, Gulu University and his research interests are: educational technology, Technical and VocationalEducation, Distance/eLearning, Professionalism in the I.T Sector, Information systems in Business/Business Computing among others. Machulu is specifically passionate about bridging the gap that exists between Academic and Technical/Vocational education through blended learning and VR/AR.
Thus, he aims at life-long learning skills acquisition and/or enhancement curtesy of simulation experiences such as immersive technologies (e.g., virtual reality and augmented reality). Machulu also envisions enhancement of TVETeducation for eradication of unemployment and sustainable development.
