Call for Appeals for 2025/2026 Admissions

All persons who applied for admission to Gulu University but are not on the admission lists for 2025/2026 Academic Year accessible on the website www.gu.ac.ug and would like to appeal for admission must adhere to the following guidelines:

a) Only the applicants who applied online and paid application fees by the deadline dates but are not on the admission list, either on account of errors in their application forms, wrong choice of programmes, wrong entry scheme or any other justifiable reason, qualify to appeal.

b) Applicants can appeal for admission to any of the advertised programmes provided they are within the cutoff points of the programme(s).
c) Download the appeal form from here APPEAL FORM FOR ADMISSION, 2025/2026 ACADEMIC YEAR fill the form, and attach copies of the application form, application fee payment slip and academic documents.

d) Scan and submit as one PDF file with the name in the format Entry Scheme-Name (e.g., Direct Entry- Akello Prossy) to the email admissions@gu.ac.ug not later than July 13, 2025. Appeals submitted after this deadline will not be processed.

Note:
a) Refer to the website at www.gu.ac.ug for the adverts, minimum admission requirements, admission lists, cutoff points and programme codes and campuses.

b) The appeal process is free of charge. Any applicant who pays a fee, does so at his/her own risk.

c) Applicants are warned against presenting forged academic documents to support their applications.
The consequences, if discovered, are grave.
