Yeeko Kisira is a geographer and educator in Uganda and beyond. He is currently employed by Gulu University, the most prestigious and prominent public university in Northern Uganda. In the education sector, Yeeko is a proponent of experiential teaching methods in education, drawing from Transformative Theories of Learning.

Yeeko has more than five years of university teaching where he employs competence-based pedagogic methods. Yeeko teaches geography courses including Migration geography, climate change adaptation and mitigation, Hazard assessment and disaster management, GIS, Natural Resources and Development, Basics in climatology, and geomorphology.
