Prof. Agasha Mugasha

Professor

I am a professor of law with significant international experience that was acquired mainly in the United Kingdom and Australia for over twenty-five years. I now lecture at Gulu University in Uganda, in the subject areas of banking and finance law, international economic law / international trade and business law, general commercial law, and Research Methods. I have always lectured Master of Laws (LLM) courses and have supervised several PhDs to completion.
I am proficient in the common law system and have also held several senior leadership positions. Further, I am known for excellent and innovative research and teaching in modern and international commercial and financial transactions. As a qualified lawyer, I also practiced law briefly in government and was the Chairperson of the Uganda Law Reform Commission for four years.
