Olwenyi Simon Peter
Cabinet Min. for Academic affairs
As it was stated by John C Maxwell, “Leadership is not about titles, positions, or flowcharts. It is about one life influencing another.”
As a dedicated leader, I’ve consistently driven positive change and empowered others through various roles. My leadership journey has been marked by a commitment to championing student rights, fostering collaboration, and inspiring others.
I’ve held numerous formal leadership positions, including Chief Magistrate of St. Balikudembe S.S-Kisoga Student Court (2019-2021), Law Class Coordinator (2022-Present), FDC Gulu University Chapter Chairperson (2022), Speaker of Gulu University Privately Sponsored students Association (2022), Guild Representative Council for Faculty of Law (2023). Additionally, I’ve served as Cabinet Minister for Academic Affairs in the 23rd Guild Government and as a University National Students Association (UNSA) Delegate.
As I continue on this path, I’m now expanding my leadership to national politics and community outreach, leveraging my skills in advocacy, governance, public speaking, and problem-solving. With a strong foundation in leadership and a passion for positive change, I’m poised to make a meaningful impact in my community and beyond.
