Nalubowa Grace Yumah is a Counseling Psychologist holding a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Uganda Christian University- Mukono, a Bachelor of Business Administration from Makerere University, Kampala, and a Diploma in Project Planning and Management from Makerere Institute for Social Development among others.

She has specialized in adolescence/youth, marriage, and general counseling, taught and supervised research and practicum for both graduate and undergraduate students at Uganda Christian University during her 6-year tenure as a Part-time Lecturer from 2006-2012.

She joined Gulu University in May 2011 as a Counselor in the Department of Dean of Students. From April 2014-2015, she acted as Dean of Students and thereafter rose through the ranks to become Principal Counseling Psychologist. She has had a great impact on the well-being of people in communities, churches, schools, and Universities in areas of psychosocial, psychological, alcohol/drug abuse and survivors of sexual gender-based violence, an area she is passionate about and is pursuing her PhD in Peace and Strategic Studies of Gulu University.
