All the way from Karamoja, a very strong, bold and politically determined gentleman is Hon Lokiru Emmauel, or simply “Loki” as many would put it. Hon Lokiru is a GRC representing the Faculty of Business in the 22nd Students Guild. He is pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Development Studies from the Faculty of Business and Development Studies. Upon reaching the Guild, Hon Lokiru was appointed to a Cabinet Position as the Minister for National and Foreign Affairs
He appreciates the fact that GULU University has natured him and still doing so pertaining his leadership experience. Through the years, Loki has served in various positions in his academic journey, namely; he was the 2nd in command Patriotism Club, class councilor, and a UNSA President for Jubilee 2000 S.S.S Karenga, District Youth Speaker, Karenga District in Karamoja Sub-region, Secretary students affairs Karenga District Youth Council (DYC), Chairperson UNSA Karenga District 2019-2022. He is so vocal in advocating for peace in his region.
