Dr. Stella Laloyo Apecu

Acting Chief- IPSS


Stella Laloyo Apecu is a gender and peace building expert and has done extensive research in post-conflict countries like Uganda, South Sudan, Rwanda and DRC. She is part of feminist networks and women’s activist networking that include National Association of Women’s Organizations in Uganda (NAWOU), Land net Uganda, Gulu Women Economic Development and Globalization (GWED-G), Association of African Women for Research and Development (AAWORD) in Senegal and the International Centre for Research on Women.
Stella Laloyo Apecu spearheaded research and student exchanges with University of New South Wales Sydney, Cambridge University, and the University for Peace.
