GRC FOS (State Minister – Gender)


Acen Emilly Adoch Ajabi, is a third year student pursing a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology – Business Computing. Acen was elected as GRC from the Faculty of Science and upon reaching the guild she was appointed as the State Minister of Gender and Women’s Affairs. She is driven by an unwavering passion for promoting gender equality and advocating for the rights and well-being of women. From a young age, Acen has embraced leadership opportunities that have shaped her commitment to empowering others.
Her journey as a leader began in primary school, where she served as the Health and Sanitary Prefect, and later became a Liturgy prefect in Primary six and Seven. In P.6 and 7. During her high school days, she was the Welfare Prefect.
These early leadership experiences have instilled in her a deep sense of responsibility and compassion. They have fueled her passion for serving as the State Minister of Gender and Women’s Affairs, where she is dedicated to addressing gender disparities, empowering women, and championing policies that foster equality. She is driven by her quote “Together, we can create a society where every woman’s voice is heard, valued, and respected”
