Associate Professor David Okello Owiny the head of delegation assured the Kingdom that the University management is committed in ensuring that the Hoima campus is independently accredited so that more programs are added on the current few being offered under the direct supervision of the main campus in Gulu city. He added that he carried all key heads of department so that they can do assessment on their various departments and directorates and see how to improve Hoima campus holistically and prepare it for accreditation with the National Council for Higher Education immediately after the facelift

The University Secretary Obol David Otori called upon the Kingdom to support them in lobbying for more resources so that Hoima campus is expanded and informed the Kingdom prime minister that the University had acquired land of about 7 acres in Buswekera Hoima City for future expansion. Rt.
