Parliamentary select committee on COVID19 applaud Gulu University Management

Dr Ayume Charles  the head of parliamentary COVID19 taskforce Committee that is in the greater Northern Uganda to do  facts finding on the pandemic situation in the North visited the University Multifunctional Laboratory. He said the University have a bright future and applauded Gulu University Vice-Chancellor Processor Openjuru George Ladaah for the visionary leadership. Professor Openjuru said with the capacity and potential of the University they have witnessed they should be able to be the ambassador of the institution when it comes to budgetary bargain especially when it comes to research and innovation which is key in transforming lives of the community members.

The Vice chancellor added that he would be knocking at the doors of most committees of parliament in advocating for the University to be fully supported in allocations to aid development in the country at large. Earlier the University team headed by Professor Openjuru  George Ladaah presented before the  Parliamentary Committee on COVID19  taskforce at Bomah Hotel in Gulu City. The presenters included Dr Lamwaka Alice Veronica on the COVID19 herbal remedy. Dr Echodo Richard the Director Gulu University Multifunctional Laboratory on the state of COVID19  testing and management. Dr Collins OKello on Gulu University Muyeme Pulp manufactured and produced by the University.
