Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Openjuru George Ladaah issued Confirmation Letters

Gulu University Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Openjuru George Ladaah said his administration would be pleased to hear that children of the University staff are going to school and would not like to handle cases where staff don’t want to pay their children in school.

“You can’t work in a university and your children are also not going to school”. Prof. Openjuru warned.

The Vice-Chancellor made the remarks on February, 19th 2024 while officiating over a function of issuing appointment letters from the University Council Board Room to 63 staff of Gulu University at the level of Administrative Officers and Office Attendants who had finished their six-month mandatory probation period.

The Vice-Chancellor also used the same avenue to appeal to staff to be innovative and ambitious in the university workplace by going to school to allow them to target other higher ranks within the university system which could demand for more academic papers.

Ataro Agness the senior Human Resource Officer appealed to the University staff to remain disciplined and committed to their work.
