ICT Support

The Directorate of Information Communications and Technology Services (DICTS) offers ICT services to the University, campuses, and the Community. These services enable you to adopt and exploit information technologies to enhance your work. We offer wide-ranging support via a number of facilities including an IT service desk that makes use of advanced classroom support and the technology in them, social media support, and support in the computing labs across campus.

Our philosophy is to do more than simply support you; we want to empower you to help yourself and show you the best ways of handling problems and requests as they arise. We are more than just a helpdesk and we are willing to take on any challenge you bring to us that our infrastructure will allow us to investigate.

The University network connects internet access and other services to stakeholders on campus. To make use of these services, you’ll need to connect to the University network, configure your device browser with the proper settings, and if you use a mobile device, connect to eduroam – the wireless service.
